The KWiSE Woman Scientist Award has been established in 2007 to recognize:

  1. member(s) who have made outstanding contributions to advances in
    science and engineering or applications of technology for the general
    welfare of society,
  2. member(s) who have made outstanding contributions in fostering
    international cooperation especially between the US and Korea, and
  3. person(s) who have made outstanding services to the betterment of
    the KWiSE.

Announcement of the 2008 KWiSE Woman Scientist Award

We are hereby soliciting nominations, and nominations are welcomed from any KWiSE member.
Each nomination must be accompanied with a letter of nomination, along with the candidate's
curriculum vitae, and two supporting letters.

The nomination package should be sent to the KWiSE Woman Scientist Award,
Committee, Chair: Dr. Myung Hee Park, 11100 Smoky Quartz lane, Potomac,
MD 20854 or mhpark@nih.gov

Deadline and Selection Process:
Deadline of the nominations for the 2008 KWiSE Woman Scientist Award is
June 30, 2008. The Award Committee will review the applicant’s suitability
and make recommendation to the President by August 1, 2008.
