The NIH Chapter of Korean-American Women in Science and Engineering (KWiSE-NIH) cordially invites you to the 2014 Symposium that will be held on November 22 (Sat, 9:00am – 4:30pm) at 5625 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20852 (NIAAA conference facility).  As indicated by the program attached, we will have a keynote lecture by Dr. Hye-Kyung Lee of Johns Hopkins University followed by Scientific Presentations by NIH Women Scientists.   We will also have Panel Discussions with topics such as ‘ Career opportunities in the age of shrinking NIH budget; Family issues arising during job search/interviews and relocation’  as well as the extramural career advice session.  As women do not monopolize these issues, all men and women scientists are invited to share the problems/difficulties and obtain advise/mentoring from senior scientists and each other.

There will be babysitting service provided for those with young children.

Sincerely on behalf of the KWiSE-NIH Symposium Organizing Committee,

Hee-Yong Kim, Ph.D.
