The KWiSE Woman Scientist Award has been established in 2007
to recognize:
- member(s) who have made outstanding contributions to advances in science and engineering or applications of technology for the general welfare of society,
- member(s) who have made outstanding contributions in fostering international cooperation especially between the US and Korea,
- and person(s) who have made outstanding services to the betterment of the KWiSE.
