On Saturday, August 12th, Dr. Mija Kim from UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) graced the event as a keynote speaker. During this event, the program was divided into two parts, featuring roundtable discussions on various topics, including government institutions, schools, mentee groups, mental health, and industrial organizations. This program was organized by chapters within KWISE (Korean Women in Science and Engineering), submitted through event proposals to KSEA (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association), and the selected chapters hosted the event with sponsorship from KSEA.

Particularly noteworthy was the participation of Dr. Kim Mija as the invited speaker for the day. She was an advisor and a mentor to Dr. Shin Mikyung, VP of KWISE-SE. Her presence showcased a remarkable bond between mentors and mentees, characterized by valuable connections and heartfelt dedication. Through this, we shared a meaningful experience, cherishing the time spent with these two esteemed individuals.
