KWiSE San Diego Chapter host WISET (Korea Center for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology)-funded Mentoring Program from May to November, 2020. The goal of the mentoring program was to promote career development and facilitate professional skills.

Four mentors and 12 participated, and many useful  and practical sessions were provided  regarding engaging in informational interviews, Interview tips, elevator pitch practice, resume writing, cultivating a professional network, career seminars, public speaking, and leadership development  in the format of big group meetings, small group meetings and one to one sessions. Mentors and mentees also discussed life/work balance and shared experience on how to overcome difficulties facing women in the STEM fields.

Specially thanks to the Mentors (Dr. Mee Young Hong, Dr. Min Sun Baek, Dr. HaeKyung Shin and Dr. Dajung Lee) for their time and support for the mentoring program.
